Satria R3 Turbo vs Satria R3 Stage 3

Hmmmm....Ada ku terbaca a few articles bout these 2 mods...r3 turbo 210bhp (on wheel) and r3 stage 3 180bhp...lepas going thru the details of the upgardes for both cars...wah..wah..wah..menkjubkan jugak owner@tuner yang handle these upgardes...


Basically satria r3 stage 3 were tuned by the r3 boys...they rebuilt the engine but with oversize piston, masuk oversize block sekali la...tapi still maintain the main brain, i mean the ecu, Siemens vdo 400 if i am nos mistaken...cost for these upgrade should be around rm3k...sal tak banyak electronics yang kena install or engine parts yang kena ganti..maybe labour ader mahal sikit sal rebuilt balik engine kan...tapi 180bhp my fren from a normal aspirated engine@n/a dah cukup baik...vtec boleh makan la gak...

For the turbo version, just bolt on turbo, ku rasa drager racing yang buat, boost pun only 0.5 aje, tak leh lebih sal cam still pakai yang original...ader la a few electronics for air flor mixture etc...210bhp..boleh tahan jugak..tapi problem with these upgrade if kena bawak inspection, confirm sangkut..puspakom(malaysia) and jpd(brunei)..harga pun dalam rm4k....

So kalau aku, i'll go the the n/a upgarde version done by the r3 boys, i think tengku djian pun install hi/low r3 suspension kit (still testing) sama meter r3 (pun still testing)..apa-apa pun..if you guys want to play around with the engine, do some reaserch 1st k, baru buat...nak bagi smart kete pun mesti ada imiginasi, then proceed...then beli la parts yang berkualiti..jgn main belasah beli parts mcm air filter $15 yang ader jual kat kedai accessories kat brunei ni or malaysia pun melambak gak...
